As a Lake Forest wedding photographer, I truly enjoyed photographing this beautiful Lake Forest wedding at the Armour House. This wedding took place in July 2015. It was a beautiful day that actually transformed to a slight rain shower before the ceremony. Meg didn’t even flinch! She was just so happy to finally be marrying her best friend Pat. While it was raining we captured the wedding party images inside the Armour house. Then were able to take the ceremony outside.
Meg & Pat dated for 8 years and engaged for 10 months. They met in college and truly have a special connection & love for each other. They are both from different areas outside Chicago, and they live here now so they decided to have a Lake Forest Wedding at the Armor house in Lake Forest. Meg’s father passed away as a child, therefore, she wanted to find ways to still include him in the day. She found his bible and had the minister read from it during the ceremony, it was so special. The bridal party was made up of friends from childhood and college. One of the bridesmaids was actually the one that introduced Meg & Pat! They truly had a beautifully romantic ceremony & reception. Check out the images below.
Meg’s most memorable moment planning her wedding:
I would say one of our favorite moments was when we first visited our wedding venue and we both knew it was the place for us. We had visited several places and it was a great feeling to know where we would say I do. The rest of the plans seemed to fall into place after making that decision.
